These are written by my hubby...enjoy who you are "in Christ".

Feb 2000

This collection of scriptures describes who you and I are in Christ, and the benefits of being in Christ. Aside from the fact that we are part of the body of Christ, being "in Christ" was a concept that baffled me for many years until finally I came to believe that it also means;

To REST "in Christ".............................Psm 37:7
To HOPE "in Christ".............................John 3:3
To TRUST "in Christ"............................Heb 2:13
To BELIEVE "in Christ"..........................John 3:36
To FIND MY LIFE "in Christ....................Col 3:3
To HAVE CONFIDENCE "in Christ"............1 John 5:14

You and I have a hard time believing that "BELIEVING" is what makes it all happen. We think that we have to "DO" something. God knows how weak we really are. That's why He sent His only begotten Son to fulfill the law and to earn salvation for us.

JESUS did it ALL for you and me.

The scriptures were written to the world, the multitude. You and I are entities of that multitude. When you read them as though they were written to you individually instead of to the "world", they take on a much more powerful meaning. It helps you to believe the Word when it is spoken to you personally. "Faith comes by hearing the Word." God wants a personal relationship with you. These scriptures should convince you of that.

I hope that the love of God was made real to you through these scriptures. I believe that He meant to speak to each one of us individually through His word. His peace is our heritage and Jesus made it all possible for you and I.

More grace and peace,

Matthew 10:8 "...Freely ye have received, freely give."
