Gen. 9:12 "And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."

I saw a rainbow, the other day,
After a dreadful storm…it came;
For a time, I thought …an ark I'd build,
Then, I remembered what God proclaimed.

He said He'd not destroy the earth again,
And, placed the bow in the sky;
For us always to remember,
That our God does not lie.

So, when we see the dark clouds gather,
Shutting out the light;
No matter how dark it seems,
Our God will make all things aright.

We can trust Him…for He has promised,
In the storm…we'll not be destroyed;
Though battered and beat about,
We can still know of His joy.

Don't let life's little struggles,
Nor the big struggles, too;
Wear you down…knock you out,
From all our God has for you.

Just remember the rainbow,
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet;
Our God is very colorful,
His nature…a vast composite.

Take Him at His Word,
No need to fear the clouds that form;
When the storm is over,
Your life…He will transform.

He'll lead you through the darkest days,
And darkest nights, too;
Be there …your Strength and Comfort,
He will not forsake you.

So, remember the rainbow,
It comes after every storm;
He'll see you through the dark times,
His Light will shine…your life, transform!
