Mat. 2:19 "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where TWO or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

From every wooded glade,
To snow-capped mountain peak;
JESUS is the name,
He's the One we seek.

Some look for Him in hallowed halls,
In ivory towers…refined places;
And, they shall never see Him,
Until, they search for humble faces.

He dwells in temples…true,
Those fashioned not…by hands;
Sometimes we look for Him,
In places He's not planned.

A stable…not the first place to look,
Surely, it cannot be;
That One so big…so universe;
Would choose a common place to be.

Still, today we tend to look,
In all the strangest places;
While, all the time…He will evade,
Those rich…those elegant places.

Sometimes, He does appear,
In ivory towers…tall;
Or schools…or homes…or store fronts,
He's not limited at all.

Where two or more are gathered,
Together…in His name;
This is the place where JESUS is,
These…His Word proclaims.

He's chosen to dwell in Believers,
Make them…His dwelling place;
Wherever they choose to be,
We'll see Him…face-to-face.

Let's stop trying to place Him,
In ivory towers…tall;
Although He could be there,
Let's not limit God at all.

I've seen Him in the face of those,
The needy try to reach;
Their efforts never daunted,
By their actions…they do preach.

I've heard Him on the telephone,
A call…when one is blue;
A helping hand…a loving heart,
This…a Believer will do.

So, when we come together,
Remember, Church is not a building;
Church is "ecclesia"…the "called-out" ones,
God's chosen ones…His Body.

Let's live our lives worthy of this call,
For we are truly not our own;
He has purchased us,
Shed blood for us…atoned.

So, put no limits on our God,
He is bigger yet…than we thought;
Why would we try to limit Him,
Tell me a place...where He is not!
