Is. 61:1 "The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."

Are you depressed…cast down,
Your life has lost all cheer;
Sad and forlorn,
Surrounded by doubts and fear?

Color your world "grey",
With dabs of "darkest black";
Sitting in the ashes of your life,
Over your head…a sack!

Let me tell you, Brother…Sister,
'Tis no way to be;
This…not the abundant life,
He has promised you and me.

Let that fountain…deep inside,
Begin to bubble over;
Allow that tiny ember,
God's Spirit…to breathe on.

You cannot contain,
His Life…deep down inside;
Like a fountain it will spring up,
His Life won't be denied.

And…that tiny ember,
Cannot remain…forever so;
God's breath upon it,
Will cause it to glow.

Before we know it,
Praise to Him…shall break loose;
High and lifted up…He'll not be kept down,
Our lips will be put to good use.

Like a garment…we shall put on,
This beautiful praise to our God;
All His creation praises Him,
Only we get to call Him...LORD.

How privileged are we,
Made in His very image;
With the ability to vocalize,
His praise…is our message.

So…put on the garment of praise,
And, wear it well…each day;
Doesn't matter how we "feel",
The Love of our God…display!
