Jn. 12: 20 "And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus."

Who is being seen,
Is it JESUS…or me?
Am I promoting myself,
When, it's He…that I should be?

So sad…but oftimes true,
We're looking for acclaim;
While…all the time we should be,
Lifting up JESUS' name.

"Oh, but it was JESUS,
JESUS…and "Me";
These words are…oh, so phony,
They are as hollow as can be.

Will we ever recognize,
The motives…for what we do;
Will we forever take the bows,
When this is what JESUS should do?

The Greeks were looking for JESUS,
Not content with just some man;
Are we still blindly following,
Man…with his own plan?

Or, are we following this JESUS,
Withersoever He shall lead;
Our eyes on Him…steadfast,
On Him only…indeed?

For man can fail us…let us down,
But, never so, with JESUS;
Like those who would find Him,
Let us say, "…we would see JESUS."
